This recipe comes from my mom. I wouldn't even attempt to make chicken and dressing until this recipe came along! So good and so easy! My picky boys request this dish anytime of the year.

Ingredients
- 1 - 8 inch pan of cornbread
- 8 - slices of day old bread
- 4 - eggs
- 1 - medium onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup celery (chopped)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sage or poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- IF YOU WANT TO ADD CHICKEN....
- 2-3 - cups of cooked chicken (cubed) or use canned chicken
How To Make crockpot dressing

Step 1Crumble breads, add all other ingredients except butter. (You may want to cook the celery and onions to just tender before adding to other ingredients, My mom pops them into the microwave for a minute or two.)

Step 2Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Pour mixture into crockpot and cover.

Step 3Cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 3 to 4 hours.

Step 4Stir in cooked chicken about an hour before dressing is finished cooking.
