Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes, dried
  • 4 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 can grands buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper

How To Make crockpot chicken & dumplins

  • Step 1
    Place chicken in the crockpot.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper and whisk together until well combined.
  • Step 3
    Pour the mixture over the chicken and add the butter
  • Step 4
    Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or on high for 4 hours.
  • Step 5
    Open the can of biscuits and cut each biscuit into 8 pieces.
  • Step 6
    Add the biscuit pieces to the crockpot, stirring continuously (or you will end up with one massive dumpling).
  • Step 7
    Cover and cook for one hour on high.
  • Step 8
    Stir and enjoy.
