Ingredients
- 1 - whole chicken
- - stock from the chicken
- 8 inch - skillet of cornbread
- 8 slices loaf bread, toasted and cubed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sage, dried
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 - onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 3 - eggs, well beaten
How To Make crockpot chicken & dressing

Step 1The night before----cook a whole chicken in the crockpot on low temperature all night.

Step 2In the morning remove the chicken and leave stock in your crockpot. Cool chicken and debone pieces. Sit aside.

Step 3Add all the rest of the ingredients to the stock in the crockpot. I usually taste test for the sage before adding the eggs. Place boned chicken pieces on top of the dressing. Cook in the crockpot on high temperature for 3 1/2 hours.
