I love the savory flavors of chicken and dressing. How great is it that you can do it all while you're at work, too? I have fixed this for years, and it's never let me down. All you need is a can of cranberry sauce, some green beans, and you have a quick, but hearty, meal for the family. Good idea for Thanksgiving also! Y'all enjoy!

prep time 10 Min
cook time 4 Hr
method Slow Cooker Crock Pot

  • 4 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless or
  • 6 - chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
  • 3 cans cream of chicken soup/cream of celery
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 bag cornbread stuffing mix
  • - crispy onions

How To Make crock pot chicken and dressing

  • Step 1
Place chicken in a greased Crock Pot. Pour undiluted soup over chicken. In a medium bowl, mix stuffing, water, and butter. Mix until well combined and spoon over chicken and soup.
  • Step 2
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Enjoy!
  • Step 3
I like to top it with some crispy onions (like you use on green bean casserole) for some extra taste and interest! Use to taste.
