Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, rinsed & patted dry, neck & gibblets discarded
- 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 4 cloves garlic, whole
- 1 medium onion, halved
- 1 lemon, halved
How To Make crock pot rotisserie chicken

Step 1After chicken is patted dry, stuff cavity with garlic, halved onion & halved lemon. Set aside.

Step 2In a bowl, combine spices; mix well. Rub the spice mixute all over bird, inside & out. Place bird (breast side down) in crock pot. (DO NOT ADD WATER)

Step 3Cover & cook on HIGH for 4 - 5 hours or LOW for 8 hours. The longer you cook it, the more tender the meat will be.
