this is one of my favorite meals that my uncle cooks for all of us sometime the whole family with have a meal together and he would bring this

Ingredients

  • 4
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into chunks
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • ·
    olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1/2 c
    frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 4 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How to Make Crock Pot Orange Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. in a bowl, mix the orange juice, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, ketchup and water, set aside.
  2. pour the flour in a small bowl. cover the chicken breast chunks in flour and shake off the excess.
  3. pour a small amount of olive oil in a skillet and brown the flour covered chicken.
  4. the chicken doesn't need to be fully cooked since its going in the crock pot.
  5. after the chicken is done browning, put the pieces into the crock pot.
  6. then cover the chicken with the sauce mixture and give it a stir.
  7. cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
