This is a delicious, hearty, creamy meal I cooked up one cold winter day.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pound boneless skinless chicken, cut up
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 package dry italian salad dressing
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup water (i add chicken bouillon)
  • 1 medium yellow or white onion, diced
  • 4 - celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 - large carrots, chopped
  • 4 - potatoes, chopped

How To Make crock pot cream cheese chicken

  • Step 1
    Pour water in bottom of crock pot, then add the chicken; drizzle melted butter over chicken and sprinkle with dry Italian dressing, stir well.
  • Step 2
    Add in chopped vegetables, stir again.
  • Step 3
    Cook on high 5-6 hours.
  • Step 4
    30-45 minutes before done, mix soup and cream cheese (I melt in microwave for a few minutes to combine until smooth).
  • Step 5
    Add mixture to crock pot, stirring well, and continue cooking on low for 30-45 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Serve and enjoy!
