How to Make Crock Pot Chicken & Dumplins
- Place Chicken, Butter, Soup, Onion, & Chicken Broth in Crock Pot. Fill with enough water to cover the chicken completely - Replace lid and cook 5 to 6 hours on HIGH
- Cut up chicken breasts or shred the chicken. (I just cut it up in bite size chunks with a knife while still in the crock pot)
- Approximately 30 to 45 minutes before ready to serve - Mix up your Bisquick according to the package directions. Drop by spoonful into crockpot. Cover and let the dumplings bake. (Because I had so many dumplings, they all rose and clumped together at the top.) I took a knife and chopped them up and pushed them back down into the soup.
