This is another Asian inspired recipe of mine, I threw together. I hope you try it sometime. Serve it up with a cup of the sauce for dipping. It's so tasty!

  • 3 - 4 tablespoons jarred minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon each - red pepper flakes & ginger paste

In a medium bowl, mix together the soy, honey, onion, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes. Place chicken into a bowl and pour soy mixture over chicken. cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Turn occasionally.

Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Place chicken skin side up in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Pour marinade over chicken. Bake for 50 minutes, ocassionally spooning sauce over skin. Raise temperature to 400 and bake another 10 - 15 minutes or until skin is crispy but not burnt.
