~ crispy soy & honey thighs ~
This is another Asian inspired recipe of mine, I threw together. I hope you try it sometime. Serve it up with a cup of the sauce for dipping. It's so tasty!

Ingredients
- THE THIGHS I USED WERE HUGE. SIX POUNDS WORTH. IF USING SMALLER YOU COULD PROBABLY HALVE THE SAUCE.
- 12 - bone in, skin on large chicken thighs - about 6 pounds - trim excess skin
- 1 cup soy sauce - i used 3/4 cup low sodium and 1/4 cup regular sodium
- 3 - green onions, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 - 4 tablespoons jarred minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon each - red pepper flakes & ginger paste
How To Make ~ crispy soy & honey thighs ~

Step 1In a medium bowl, mix together the soy, honey, onion, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes. Place chicken into a bowl and pour soy mixture over chicken. cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Turn occasionally.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Place chicken skin side up in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Pour marinade over chicken. Bake for 50 minutes, ocassionally spooning sauce over skin. Raise temperature to 400 and bake another 10 - 15 minutes or until skin is crispy but not burnt.

Step 3Serve with a cup of the sauce to dip. Delish!
