Ingredients
- FRIED CHICKEN
- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon mustard powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup flour
- `1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- GRAVY
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
How To Make crispy fried chicken with gravy

Step 1Dry the chicken thighs. Season with the mustard powder, garlic powder, and salt.

Step 2Mix the flour with the baking powder. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture and set it on a rack. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Step 3Add the oil to a skillet. Once the oil is hot add the chicken and brown each side and continue to turn the chicken and keep cooking until the chicken juices run clean. Remove the chicken to a plate.

Step 4Pour out all but 1/4 oil from the pan. Add the flour and whisk, and continue to cook 2 minutes.

Step 5Add the chicken stock and heavy cream. Whisk until thickened. Season with pepper. Serve the gravy with the chicken.
