This is some wonderful creamy chicken goodness here! I've made this many times! This is a recipe from a foodie named Momto5. This tastes like chicken stroganoff, but its so very easy to make! You could even add some mixed veggies to this and put it in a pie crust, after its cooked, for a great chicken pot pie!

Ingredients

  • 6
    boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
  • 1 pkg
    good seasons garlic herb dressing mix
  • 1 medium
    onion-sliced
  • 1-8 oz
    package cream cheese-i used low fat
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • ·
    milk-to thin if needed or desired
  • 1-12 oz
    package wide egg noodles-cooked according to package
  • ·
    chopped parsley to garnish-optional

How to Make Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Put 3 Breasts in the bottom of crockpot
  2. sprinkle with 1/2 dressing mix and 1/2 the sliced onion
  3. add last three breasts and repeat layer
  4. cook in crockpot on high for 4 hours
  5. Break chicken up into chunks
  6. Add cream cheese and soups
  7. cook for 1 more hour
  8. mix together well
    serve over cooked noodles
