creamy italian crockpot chicken

This is some wonderful creamy chicken goodness here! I've made this many times! This is a recipe from a foodie named Momto5. This tastes like chicken stroganoff, but its so very easy to make! You could even add some mixed veggies to this and put it in a pie crust, after its cooked, for a great chicken pot pie!

Ingredients

  • 6 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
  • 1 package good seasons garlic herb dressing mix
  • 1 medium onion-sliced
  • 1-8 ounce package cream cheese-i used low fat
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • - milk-to thin if needed or desired
  • 1-12 ounce package wide egg noodles-cooked according to package
  • - chopped parsley to garnish-optional

How To Make creamy italian crockpot chicken

  • Step 1
    Put 3 Breasts in the bottom of crockpot
  • Step 2
    sprinkle with 1/2 dressing mix and 1/2 the sliced onion
  • Step 3
    add last three breasts and repeat layer
  • Step 4
    cook in crockpot on high for 4 hours
  • Step 5
    Break chicken up into chunks
  • Step 6
    Add cream cheese and soups
  • Step 7
    cook for 1 more hour
  • Step 8
    mix together well serve over cooked noodles
