creamy farfalle pasta

I plucked this recipe off of a butter package somewhere... Made a few minor adjustments and love it! It's quick and so easy, just my style!!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces farfalle pasta (or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded parmesan
  • 3 - chicken breasts, cooked and sliced
  • 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

How To Make creamy farfalle pasta

  • Step 1
    Cook your pasta and set aside, keep it warm.
  • Step 2
    On medium heat in a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. At sizzling point add the broccoli and cook until tender. (4-5 minutes)
  • Step 3
    While the broccoli is cooking, place your whipping cream in a sauce pan on medium-low heat with 1/4 cup of butter. Stir this frequently until the butter melts.
  • Step 4
    Add half of the parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Then add the other half of cheese and 1 teaspoon of minced garlic. Remove the sauce from the heat when it becomes smooth.
  • Step 5
    Place the pasta and sauce into the large broccoli skillet with the bacon and chicken also. Add the garlic salt and stir well. Serve and enjoy!!
