creamy chicken spaghetti
I wanted something different, so experiment time! I love the lighter flavor of the sauce, because it doesn't overpower the chicken. Hubby was worried, but he said" You were right, it's good," and then got seconds! Hope you try it!

Ingredients
- BASE SAUCE
- 2 cans tomato sauce, 15 oz
- 1 can tomato paste, 8 oz
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic, heaping
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning, heaping
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 - green bell pepper, diced small
- 1 - red bell pepper, diced small
- 1 - medium vidialia onion, diced small
- 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms, chopped small
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, light
- 1 pint heavy cream
- THE CHICKEN
- 3 - boneless skinless breasts, cut bite sized
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning, heaping
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, light
How To Make creamy chicken spaghetti

Step 1In a large pot over medium heat, add oil, seasonings & garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add veggies and cook until onions are just soft.

Step 2Add tomato sauce & paste, stirring well to blend.cover, & reduce heat to med low to simmer.

Step 3Combine seasonings & oil with chicken, cover and allow it to "marinate for desired amount of time(porch time for me).

Step 4In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken until "just done"

Step 5Add cream to sauce & stir well to blend. Add chicken including pan juices to sauce. Stir . Allow to simmer for at least 15-20 minutes. (This is when I make pasta.)

Step 6Serve of your pasta of choice with a nice side salad & garlic bread.
