I trying to think of some nice comfort food for a cold evening and I came up with this, based on what I had in my pantry.

Ingredients

8 oz
cream cheese
2 Tbsp
butter
1 clove
minced garlic
1/2 tsp
minced onion
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
4 oz
sour cream
3/4 can(s)
milk (using the soup can)
4 slice
american cheese
1 Tbsp
olive oil
2
boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 oz
rotini pasta

Step-By-Step

1heat cream cheese and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
2Add garlic, onion, soup, sour cream, American cheese and milk. Stir until smooth and bring to a low simmer, then reduce heat to warm, stirring occasionally.
3Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces. Heat olive oil in skillet and add chicken. Cook until chicken is lightly browned and done through.
4Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and mix into sauce. Fold in chicken and serve.
