i got this recipe from my mom a long time ago and just made it again last night. It's still easy and delicious.

Ingredients

8 oz
penne pasta
2
chopped shallots
1 tsp
minced garlic
1/4 c
chicken broth
1/4 c
fresh, snipped basil
1 Tbsp
fresh chopped parsley
10 oz
light alfredo sauce, like classicos
3/4 c
oil-packed dried tomatoes, drained, thinly sliced
1/3 c
1% milk
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 c
grated parmesan cheese
12 oz
bonelss, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small cubes

How to Make Creamy and chicken pasta bake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook pasta as directed, drain. Heat oven to 350. Spray a 2-quart baking dish w/ cooking spray. In lg skillet, over med-high heat, Cook shallots and garlic in oil 30 seconds.
  • 2Add chicken and cook for 4 mins, stirring. Add broth, basil, and parsley. Cook 1 min. In lg bowl, combine pasta, chicken mix, alfredo sauce, dried tomatoes, milk, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and pepper.
  • 3Transfer mix to baking dish. Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese. Cover, bake 15 mins. Uncover, bake additional 15 min.
