i got this recipe from my mom a long time ago and just made it again last night. It's still easy and delicious.

Ingredients

8 ounces penne pasta
2 - chopped shallots
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup fresh, snipped basil
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
10 ounces light alfredo sauce, like classicos
3/4 cup oil-packed dried tomatoes, drained, thinly sliced
1/3 cup 1% milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
12 oz - bonelss, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small cubes

How To Make creamy and chicken pasta bake

Step 1

Cook pasta as directed, drain. Heat oven to 350. Spray a 2-quart baking dish w/ cooking spray. In lg skillet, over med-high heat, Cook shallots and garlic in oil 30 seconds.

Step 2

Add chicken and cook for 4 mins, stirring. Add broth, basil, and parsley. Cook 1 min. In lg bowl, combine pasta, chicken mix, alfredo sauce, dried tomatoes, milk, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and pepper.
Step 3

Transfer mix to baking dish. Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese. Cover, bake 15 mins. Uncover, bake additional 15 min.
