creamed chicken & biscuits

I thought this turned out rather well,and was delicious as well..I just make a salad to go with it,as it is a full meal deal..enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - large onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
  • 4 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 - 10 oz.can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped pimiento
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese,divided
  • 6 - frozen biscuits,thawed

How To Make creamed chicken & biscuits

  • Step 1
    ***I myself,am allergic to onions,so I replace with whatever is handy..You know me,usually jalapenos lol
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Grease the bottom and sides of a 11x17-inch baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Chop the onion.Heat butter in a small nonstick skillet over med-high heat until melted.Stir in onion.Saute' until tender.
  • Step 4
    Combine onion,chicken,soup,sour cream,milk and pimiento in a med bowl and mix well.Spoon mixture into prepared baking pan.Bake for 15 minutes.Remove from oven.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle baked layer with 3/4 c of cheese.Arrange biscuits in single layer over top.Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Step 6
    Bake until biscuits are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly,about 20 minutes longer.Serve immediately..Enjoy..huggs
