How to Make Cream of Chicken Soup
1Cook chicken - boil for 20 minutes in large saucepan 3/4 full of water. Discard water. Cut cooked chicken into small pieces.
2In stockpot, melt butter. With wire whisk, slowly stir in flour, stirring constantly.
3Slowly stir in milk and broth. Cook over medium heat and stir constantly until mixture is slightly thickened and bubbly; reduce heat.
4Stir in chicken, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper; heat through.
