I came across this recipe in high school and I enjoyed it a lot! Hopefully you will too! It is also good with rice added! :)

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 dash pepper
How To Make cream of chicken soup

Step 1Cook chicken - boil for 20 minutes in large saucepan 3/4 full of water. Discard water. Cut cooked chicken into small pieces.

Step 2In stockpot, melt butter. With wire whisk, slowly stir in flour, stirring constantly.

Step 3Slowly stir in milk and broth. Cook over medium heat and stir constantly until mixture is slightly thickened and bubbly; reduce heat.

Step 4Stir in chicken, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper; heat through.
