cranberry chicken

This recipe came from Cambpell's soup cookbook. Of course when I saw the word cranberry, well had to try it ! It is easy and good with low-fat Cream of Mushroom or or low-fat Cream of Chicken soup in the topping ! I figure we can never have enough chicken recipes ! Right?

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 - boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 cup each of cranberry juice and orange juice
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) campbell's cream of mushroom or cream of chicken 98% fat free soup
  • 1 tablespoon dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage or 1 tsp. dried sage leaves crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 cups cooked instant white rice

How To Make cranberry chicken

  • Step 1
    1.HEAT oil in skillet. Add chicken and cook until browned
  • Step 2
    2.ADD juices, soup, cranberries, sage, and pepper. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes. or until done.
  • Step 3
    SERVE over rice. Serves 4
