Ingredients
- 1 package (8 oz.) egg noodles
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups chicken stock
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cans mushroom stems & pieces, drained
- 2 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces, or a rotisserie chicken, skin removed and pulled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh, grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh, chopped parsley
How To Make country style chicken and noodles

Step 1Cook noodles according to package directions.

Step 2Meanwhile, in a deep skillet, heat olive oil and saute chicken until cooked. Remove from pan, set aside. (Skip this step if using pulled rotisserie chicken)

Step 3Return pan to stove and heat butter in pan, blend in flour with a wire whisk until smooth. Add broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt & pepper.

Step 4Add mushrooms, noodles and chicken to sauce, stir until well combined and warmed through.

Step 5Plate and top with Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley.
