Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coursely ground fresh black pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 - chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup tobasco or hot pepper sace
  • - other seasonings as preferred

How To Make country fried chicken

  • Step 1
    Add the flour and spices together. Place in a ziploc bag.
  • Step 2
    Dry the chicken breasts with paper towels. Combine the buttermilk and hot pepper sauce.
  • Step 3
    Dredge the chicken breasts in the buttermilk. Place the chicken, one breast at a time, in the flour mixture. Place on a plate. Dip the chicken into the buttermilk again, and flour again.
  • Step 4
    Put the prepared chicken in hot oil (around 350 degrees) and allow to brown well on each side. Drain on paper towels or a brown paper bag. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes to cool and so the juices will not run.
