A favorite neighbor of mine used to make this years ago and she knew how much I loved it, so she always made extra for me & my family in those days. Such a blessing to have a neighbor like that!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 8
    chicken breast fillets
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How to Make Country Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, salt, pepper in bowl, mix well. Rinse chicken & pat dry. Dip in milk, coat with crumb mixture.
  2. Cook chicken in butter in skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked thoroughly.
