Ingredients

  • FOR THE BATTER
  • 2 cups kellogg's corn flake crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon each paprika and ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon each cumin and allspice
  • FOR THE CHICKEN
  • 4 boneless thighs cut in half lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • oil for deep frying

How To Make cornflake crumb fried chicken

  • Step 1
    Mix all the ingredients together for the coating.
  • Step 2
    Place the flour on one plate and egg on another.
  • Step 3
    Heat the oil to 350 degrees. Dredge the chicken in the flour shaking off excess.
  • Step 4
    lay the pieces one at at time in the egg then lay in the crumb mixture. Deep fry about 5 to 7 minutes.
