- 2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
- 4 - (all-white meat) breaded chicken breasts,sliced
- 30 - (all-white meat) popcorn chicken
- 6 - (all-white meat) chicken tenders,sliced
- 1 3/4 cups (4 ounces) shredded swiss cheese
- 1 - large carrot,chopped
- 1/2 cup butter,melted
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons seasoned pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1 cup whipped cream cheese
- TOPPING:
- 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup butter,melted
How To Make cordon bleu chicken casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a large nonstick skillet,saute ham for 4-5 minutes or until browned;drain and pat dry.Meanwhile,in a greased 2-quart baking dish,layer sliced breaded chicken,popcorn chicken,sliced chicken tenders,cheese and ham;set aside.

Step 3In a large saucepan,saute carrots in butter until tender.Stir in flour,pepper and nutmeg until blended.Gradually stir in milk and cream cheese.Bring to a boil;cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.Pour over chicken mixture.

Step 4Combine topping ingredients;sprinkle over the top.Bake,uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
