It is fast to make and full of flavor. Note: If you want some flavor, try using a lemon and garlic marinade. Marinate the chicken in the fridge overnight.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces noodles
  • 3 cups chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 4 ounces mushrooms, drained
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

How To Make company chicken casserole crockpot

  • Step 1
    In large bowl, combine all ingredients except noodles and chicken.
  • Step 2
    Grease the crockpot. Place chicken in crockpot, then pour in mixture over top.
  • Step 3
    Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
  • Step 4
    Cook noodles according to package directions until barely tender; drain and rinse thoroughly.
  • Step 5
    Add noodles and mix together. Cook for another 2-3 hours.
  • Step 6
    Can cook on high for 3-4 hours but use of cooked chicken is recommended to insure your health.
  • Step 7
    If it comes out a little watery you will need to add 2-3 tablespoons of cornstarch to about 1/2 c of hot water. Then stir a little of the mixture in until the sauce gets the consistancy you desire.
