Clay Pot Creamy Paprika Chicken
4bone in chicken thighs
1 largeonion sliced
4 clovegarlic minced
1 Tbspsweet paprika
·salt and pepper
1/2 cdry white wine
1 csour cream at room temp
·hot buttered noodles for serving
How to Make Clay Pot Creamy Paprika Chicken
- Soak for clay pot for 15 minutes in cold water. Drain. Add the onions and garlic to the bottom of the clay pot. Top with the chicken pieces and season with the paprika , salt and pepper. Pour the wine around the chicken. Cover and place in cold oven. Turn oven to 450 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes.
- Turn the oven off. Remove the chicken and set aside. Stir the sour cream into the onion sauce. Return the chicken to the pot and place back in oven for 10 more minutes to get the sauce hot.
- Serve over hot buttered noodles
