Ingredients

  • 1
    chicken, broiler-fryer, skinned and cut up
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    white wine
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1
    garlic clove, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 3 pkg
    sugar substitute

How to Make Citrus-Wine Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Lightly sprinkle chicken pieces with salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika; place chicken in non stick shallow casserole.
  2. Melt butter; brush chicken pieces.
  3. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.
  4. Combine juice, wine, worcestershire sauce and garlic; pour over chicken.
  5. Cover and bake 20 minutes or until tender; remove chicken.
  6. Combine cornstarch and water; add to pan juices.
  7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  8. Remove from heat; stir in sugar substitute.
  9. Serve sauce over chicken.
