chive butter
I love to keep flavored butters in the freezer for using on fish, meats, and vegetables. I found this recipe not long ago and was able to make it up because my chives are doing extra well this year.

Ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
How To Make chive butter

Step 1Set butter out and let soften.

Step 2Add all ingredients and mix well.

Step 3Place on a sheet of wax paper and shape into a roll. Place the roll on a sheet of foil and store in refrigerator or freeze. Cut off a slice to add to your dish.

Step 4For the recipe I used 2 sticks of butter and doubled the other ingredients.
