This is a quick to prepare BBQ sauce with a hint of maple flavor. Just mix it all in the blender, blend well and brush on ribs, chicken, or whatever you choose.

  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoons red pepper flakes, if desired

How To Make chipotle bbq sauce

  • Step 1
Place all ingredients in blender and blender for about 45 seconds to 1 minute. Use on ribs, chicken or whatever you choose. (When I cook ribs, I slowly boil ribs first in beef or chicken broth or a mixture of both until ribs are almost done, about an 1 - 1 1/2 hours, then I place them on the grill and brush with BBQ sauce until browned and falling off the bone. I got that tip from Sandra Lee on Food Network).
