chinese chicken spaghetti

I have heard about people "adopting" recipes on this site. I have seen a couple of recipes like that, but didn't know anything about doing so at the time. I ran across this one, and decided to try it out. It sounds good to me.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 - chicken breasts, halved, boneless and skinless
- 1 - green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
- 2 - celery stalks, sliced
- 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
How To Make chinese chicken spaghetti

Step 1Combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, sesame oil, vinegar, cornstarch, garlic, ginger and both peppers.

Step 2Place in a dish.

Step 3Cut chicken into 1/2-inch strips; add to marinade.

Step 4Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.

Step 5Toward end of marinating time, bring salted water to boiling for cooking pasta.

Step 6Remove dish from refrigerator.

Step 7Saute until chicken is tender and sauce is thickened.

Step 8Stir in bell pepper, cabbage, celery and green onions.

Step 9Cook until vegetables are crisp tender.

Step 10Add pasta to boiling water and follow package directions.

Step 11Drain.

Step 12Spoon chicken mixture over top.
