Ingredients
- MARINADE
- 3 - boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon shaoxing wine
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- SAUCE
- 2 tablespoons black bean sauce
- 1 tablespoon shaoxing wine
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- STIR FRY
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 3 small shallots diced
- - green onion and cilantro chopped for garnish
How To Make chinese chicken in black bean sauce

Step 1Combine the chicken with the marinade and set aside. Combine the ingredients for the sauce and set aside.

Step 2Add one tbsp oil to a large skillet or wok. Add the chicken to the oil in a single layer and let brown on one side. Flip the chicken and brown on the other. Remove from pan and set aside.

Step 3Add the other tbsp of oil to the pan and add the shallot, ginger and garlic. Saute 1 minute. Add the sauce. Give it a stir then add back the chicken. Cook about 1 minute until sauce thickens. garnish with green onion and cilantro and serve over rice.
