My husband loves this recipe! I received it from my mom who got it from my aunt.

You can use low sodium soy sauce and can omit or add anything you want. I don't use nuts in mine and sometimes I add celery for a little more crunch.

3 c
cooked chopped chicken breasts
2 tsp
lemon juice, fresh
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1 can(s)
bean sprouts
5 oz
water chestnuts
1 can(s)
chow mein noodles
1/4 c
chopped almonds
1 c
mayonnaise or miracle whip...whichever you prefer

How to Make Chinese Chicken Casserole


  • 1Marinate chicken overnight in lemon juice and soy sauce.
  • 2Mix everything except chow mein noodles and nuts.
  • 3Put in 13x9 greased pan.
  • 4Top with chow mein noodles and nuts.
  • 5Bake at 350 degrees (F) 25-30 minutes
