My husband loves this recipe! I received it from my mom who got it from my aunt.

You can use low sodium soy sauce and can omit or add anything you want. I don't use nuts in mine and sometimes I add celery for a little more crunch.

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    cooked chopped chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    bean sprouts
  • 5 oz
    water chestnuts
  • 1 can(s)
    chow mein noodles
  • 1/4 c
    chopped almonds
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise or miracle whip...whichever you prefer

How to Make Chinese Chicken Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Marinate chicken overnight in lemon juice and soy sauce.
  2. Mix everything except chow mein noodles and nuts.
  3. Put in 13x9 greased pan.
  4. Top with chow mein noodles and nuts.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees (F) 25-30 minutes
