This recipe came from one of my many friends, Peggy. This is a very yummy dish and so quick and easy to prepare...can't beat that with a stick! Guess the rice and water chestnuts warrents it to be called "Chinese".

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cube & debone
- 3/4 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 4 ounces sliced water chestnuts, drain
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup corn flakes
How To Make chinese chicken

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Mix first 10 ingredients together and pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.

Step 2Topping: melt butter then add almonds and corn flakes. Toss to coat then sprinkle on top of first mixture.

Step 3Bake at 350 for approximately 35 minutes.
