Ingredients
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 cups salsa
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch salt
- 2 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken or turkey
- 8 - 12" flour tortillas
- 1 cup refried beans
How To Make chimichangas

Step 1Saute onion and garlic until tender, add salsa, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon and salt. Fold in chicken, remove from heat and set aside. Spoon 2 T beans down center of each tortilla, top with scant 1/2 c chicken m ixture. Fold top and bottom, then roll. Secure with wooden toothpicks if necessary. Place in 9x13 seam down. Bake at 450 degrees 20-25 min or until golden brown and crisp, turning and respraying pan after 10 min.
