This is good served over rice.You can also substitute ground beef for the chicken. the original recipe my family made used the beef but I wanted something different.

Ingredients

1 -1 1/4 lb
chicken tenders or boneless breasts
1/2 c
chopped onion
1/2 c
chopped bell pepper
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
chili powder
2 Tbsp
vegetable or olive oil
8 oz
can of tomato sauce
1/2 c
water

How to Make CHILI SPICE CHICKEN

Step-by-Step

  • 1chop onion, bell pepper and cut up chicken into chunks
  • 2place oil in non stick skillet,add chicken,onion,bell pepper,salt and chili powder,cook on med heat until chicken is done and vegetables are almost tender.about 10 min
  • 3add 8 oz can of tomato sauce and use 1/2 cup of water to rinse out can and add to skillet
  • 4simmer on low-med heat until sauce thickens. approx 15-20 min.
