My boyfriend is the one that came up with this. The first time he made it for me i thought it was gonna taste nasty, but it actually tasted good. He would usually put mushrooms on it but i don't like mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 12 slice
    chicken patties
  • 15oz. can(s)
    hormel® chili (no beans)
  • 4oz. can(s)
    sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 8oz. pkg
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • FRYING PAN, TONGS, COOKIE SHEET

How to Make Chili Cheese Chicken Patties

Step-by-Step

  1. Fry the patties in some oil until crispy.
  2. Place them on a cookie sheet.
  3. Put a spoonful of chili on top of each patty. Put some mushrooms on if you'd like.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of cheese on top.
  5. Bake at 350* degrees until cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm.
