So this was one of those recipes that I made up when someone was coming to dinner and I hadn't pulled anything out of the freezer to thaw.

1 pkg
frozen artichoke hearts
boneless chicken breasts
2 c
cremini or portabello mushrooms
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 c
sour cream
1+1/2 c
sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp
montreal chicken seasoning

How to Make Chik-N-Chokes


  • 1Pre-heat oven to 350
  • 2Thaw chicken breasts only to the point that they may be easier to cut.
  • 3Cut chicken into artichoke sized pieces.
  • 4If necessary, cut mushrooms into artichoke sized pieces
  • 5In a large bowl add all ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup cheese.
  • 6Mix thoroughly.
  • 7Spray casserole dish with non-stick spray
  • 8Pour mixture into pre-greased casserole dish.
  • 9Top with reserved cheese.
  • 10Bake for 1 hour.
  • 11Serve over rice or noodles.
