Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup tamari
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast tenders, cut in half on an angle
  • 5 - scallions, cut in half
  • - cooked rice for serving

How To Make chicken yakitori

  • Step 1
    Preheat a grillpan over med-high heat.
  • Step 2
    Combine the sherry, sugar, tamari and oil in a shallow dish. Turn chicken and scallions in marinade and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Cook the chicken pieces and scallions in a single layer on the hot grill pan for 3-4 minutes per side. Serve with rice!
