Ingredients
- 6 chicken thighs
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 cloves garlic, crushed
- 8 sprigs thyme
- 1/2 cup sherry vinegar
How To Make chicken with vinegar

Step 1Tie the thyme with butchers' twine into a bundle. Place the olive oil and 1 Tbsp of butter in a large pan.

Step 2Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Place the chicken skin side down in the hot pan along with the garlic and thyme. Cook undisturbed until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 3Turn the chicken and cook for about 20 minutes. Turning the chicken every 5 minutes.

Step 4Once the chicken is done, remove it to a plate. Ditch the oil in the pan and place it over high heat.

Step 5Add the vinegar and scrape up the bottom of the pan. Add 1 cup of water. Boil and reduce by half. Add the final tablespoon of butter. Place the chicken back into the pan and spoon the vinegar sauce over the top.
