Chicken With Sour Cream Gravy
4 to 6chicken breasts, boneless & skinless
·salt and pepper to taste
1 csprite or any clear soda
1/2 cchopped celery
1/4 cminced onion (i used vadalia onion)
1 csour cream
How to Make Chicken With Sour Cream Gravy
- In a skillet, melt butter. Salt and pepper the chicken and then brown them in the skillet over medium heat about 8 minutes on each side.
- Combine the remaining ingredients except the sour cream and pour this mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook 20 to 30 minutes on medium low until chicken is tender.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and blend the sour cream into the gravy until it's smooth. Return chicken to the skillet and keep warm until ready to serve.
