How to Make Chicken with Pear and Red Onion Sauce
- Combine together in a small bowl lemon pepper, Nature's Seasoning, and Kosher salt. Rub on the chicken breasts. Heat (medium) olive oil in a skillet; add chicken breasts and brown on both sides. Add garlic and sesame oil; continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes releasing the flavor of the garlic. Remove chicken breasts from the skillet.
- Mix together chicken stock, brown sugar, honey, and lemon juice in a bowl. Melt butter in the chicken drippings. Add red onions and sliced pears; saute for several minutes. Pour sauce mixture into the pan, stirring well. Add chicken breasts to the sauce. Reduce heat to low; cook approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Stir occasionally until chicken is thoroughly cooked and sauce is thickened. Serve.
