Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 - chickens, cut up
  • - salt and pepper
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups sour cream

How To Make chicken with paprika

  • Step 1
    In casserole heat butter and oil and brown chicken. Season with S&P and remove. In remaining fat cook onions and garlic until translucent. Add paprika and flour and cook gently, stirring 3 min. Add broth, then sour cream stirring constantly until sauce is smooth and thickened. Replace chicken. (At this point you can stop and continue later. Refrigerate and increase baking time).
  • Step 2
    Bake covered, in preheated 350F oven for one hour, or until tender.
  • Step 3
    Serving Ideas : Noodles or potato pancakes and salad.
