My husband loves this chicken dish. It is a recipe that I have made into my own with the mushrooms and reduced fat soup. It is great over rice.

Ingredients

chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
6 Tbsp
butter, unsalted
2 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, light
4 oz
mushrooms, fresh
2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2
eggs,beaten
1 c
flour
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper

How to Make Chicken with Mushrooms Melt-In-Your Mouth

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine four, salt and pepper. Roll chicken breasts in egg then flour mixture. Set aside.
  • 2In a large skillet, melt butter on medium high heat. Add mushrooms and saute. Add chicken breast and brown in melted butter.
  • 3Mix soup and sauce together. Pour soup mixture into skillet around and under chicken, but not covering chicken.
  • 4Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 1-2 hours. Stir occasionally. Serve over rice.
