    chicken legs or thighs
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 c
  • 1 can(s)
    mushroom gravy
  • 4 oz
    mushrooms, sliced and drained
  • 1 tsp
    onions, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder

How to Make Chicken with Mushroom Gravy


  1. Place chicken in a roasting pan.
  2. In small bowl, comnbine lemon juice, oil and seasonings. Pour over chicken.
  3. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
  4. Turn chicken twice and baste occasionally. Remove from oven.
  5. For the gravy, combine water and cornstarch in pan.
  6. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to boil over medium heat. Spoon over chicken.
  7. Cover loosely with foil.
  8. Bake, basting frequently for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
