Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 3/4 cup plus 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 cup lite soy sauce
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
How To Make chicken w/ sparerib sauce

Step 1Heat oil in lg skillet, over med-high heat. Add chicken. Brown on all sides for about 5-7 mins.

Step 2In bowl, combine 3/4 cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, garlic and ginger. Mix well and stir into chicken in skillet.

Step 3Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 15 mins, stirring occasionally. In small bowl, combine cornstarch and 1 tbsp water until smooth. Stir into skillet and cook until sauce thickens. I serve this over rice.
