This chicken is awesome!! They taste like spareribs, but are actually chicken. It's all in the sauce.

Ingredients

1 Tbsp
canola oil
2 lb
boneless, skinless chicken thighs
3/4 c
plus 1 tbsp water
1/4 c
lite soy sauce
1/3 c
packed light brown sugar
3 Tbsp
ketchup
2 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1 tsp
minced garlic
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1 Tbsp
cornstarch

How to Make chicken w/ sparerib sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oil in lg skillet, over med-high heat. Add chicken. Brown on all sides for about 5-7 mins.
  • 2In bowl, combine 3/4 cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, garlic and ginger. Mix well and stir into chicken in skillet.
  • 3Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 15 mins, stirring occasionally. In small bowl, combine cornstarch and 1 tbsp water until smooth. Stir into skillet and cook until sauce thickens. I serve this over rice.
