Ingredients
- 4 - chicken thighs
- 3 - green onions
- 8 slices wrights bacon
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- To taste - salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
- 1 teaspoon parsley
How To Make chicken w/ mushroom & bacon cream sauce

Step 1Preheat oven to 400°F

Step 2Add olive oil and minced garlic in a large cast iron skillet, roast garlic over medium high heat

Step 3Combine, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, Creole seasoning and parsley. Season chicken thighs.

Step 4Sear chicken for 2 minutes on each side.

Step 5Transfer skillet to oven for 30 minutes.

Step 6While that's roasting, start on your bacon and cook till crispy

Step 7Once chicken is done, remove chicken from skillet, set aside.

Step 8Using the cast iron add mushrooms and cook till tender

Step 9Add chicken broth, cream parmesan cheese, crumbled bacon & let simmer.

Step 10Using equal parts of cornstarch and cold water whisk together, stir in and allow to thicken

Step 11Add the chicken back into the pan; allow to simmer.

Step 12Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve and enjoy.
