Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken thighs cut into pieces
- salt and white pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms chopped
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons traders joes mushroom and company umami seasoning (opt)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
How To Make chicken velvet

Step 1Season the chicken with salt and white pepper Add oil to a large skillet. Add the chicken and cook until browned. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. Add the flour and cook 2 minutes. Pour in the chicken stock and cream.

Step 2Add the Umami seasoning if using. Simmer 10 minutes. Add the shredded cheese and simmer until cheese is melted.

Step 3Serve over fettucine or egg noodles and garnish with parsley.
