My mother taught school for 20 years and retired to have me 33 years ago. This recipe was from one of the other teachers & it continues to live on!

Ingredients

  • 4
    chicken breasts, cooked & skinless
  • 1/2 lb
    grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 7-8
    tortillas, quartered
  • SAUCE

  • 2 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 - 3/4 can(s)
    rotel tomatoes
  • 1
    medium onion, chopped finely
  • 1/2 - 3/4 c
    milk
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste

How to Make Chicken Tortilla Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. In a long greased baking dish layer tortillas, chicken, sauce and cheese. You should have enough tortillas, chicken, sauce and cheese to layer this way twice.
  2. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Uncover for the last 15 minutes of cooking.
