This is cheesy and delicious. The meat is tender and you can't really taste the mustard. It is just good.

Ingredients

  • 6 - chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup creme fraiche or heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese divided

How To Make chicken thighs in cheesy mustard sauce

  • Step 1
    Place an oven proof pot on stove over high heat and add the butter. Mix the flour with salt and pepper. Dredge the chicken thighs in the flour mixture then place them in pot over high heat to brown on both sides. Deglaze with the wine. Place in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile mix the creme fraiche, mustard, paprika, garlic, and 1 cup cheese together. Remove the pan from the oven. Take out the chicken and set aside.
  • Step 3
    Mix in the mustard cheese mixture into the pan drippings. Add the chicken back in skin side up. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over each thigh. Place back in oven for 15 more minutes.
