Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    onions, sliced
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    sage, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 jar(s)
    mushrooms, sliced and drained
  • 3 c
    chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 1/2 c
    chopped parsley
  • 1/3 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkg
    spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 jar(s)
    pimentos, 4 ounces drained
  • 1/2 c
    shredded swiss cheese

How to Make Chicken Tetrazzini Bake

Step-by-Step

  1. In large saucepan over medium heat, cook onions in butter until tender.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, sage and pepper; cook until bubbly.
  3. Stir in broth, milk and mushrooms.
  4. Cook and stir until mixture boils and is slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in remaining ingredients except swiss cheese.
  6. Spoon into ungreased 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish; sprinkle with swiss cheese.
  7. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350-degree oven 20 to 30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  8. If desired, sprinkle with additional chopped fresh parsley.
